A catch-all functionality that is activated for a given email mailbox will allow you to receive emails that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise put, if you remove an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any mistyped email address under the same domain, you will receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential if you are running a company, for instance. Since you may start receiving unsolicited emails, you can use the catch-all option with email filters in order to get only real emails in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all mailbox with ease in case you’ve got a cloud hosting plan with us. The Email Manager tool in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet remarkably intuitive, and it will enable you to activate various features, including the catch-all one, with no more than several mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be displayed in alphabetical order in this section and on the right side of each one of them you will notice a mini "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will activate this feature, clicking on it once again will disable it. As you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already got another one with this option activated or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

A catch-all email address can be configured with several clicks of the mouse if you’ve got a semi-dedicated hosting service with us. The semi-dedicated account will be administered via our custom-developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will be able to set up mailboxes with any domain name registered there. To activate the catch-all feature for a particular mailbox, you will have to click the symbol with the same name, which will be next to each email address. Disabling this feature can be accomplished in the very same manner and will not require more than a click either. In case a catch-all mailbox has already been activated for a certain domain, you’ll receive a warning. The same is valid if the mailbox that you wish to be a catch-all one has email forwarding activated, as our system will never replace or disable anything automatically.
